About me
I'm a Senior Product Designer at AstraZeneca with 8 years of experience designing software that has to work under real complexity: generative AI tools handling millions of prompts per month, an enterprise search platform, and data-dense operational systems where the wrong default costs people time and clarity.
Good software should feel inevitable. No matter how complex the underlying system, the experience should let people do their work the way they need to, whether that's focused execution, open exploration, or something creative. That's the bar I design toward.
On my projects I'm typically the design lead or one of a small team, owning the full arc from early research through production and design QA. But the work I'm most proud of goes beyond shipping screens; it's the things that changed how my org operates: introducing design QA as a practice, mentoring junior designers, and pushing for design to have a voice earlier in technical decisions.
I have a master's in HCI and a technical foundation from a CS minor and early experience writing front-end code. That combination shapes how I design. I think in systems and I prototype when the fidelity matters. I genuinely enjoy working with engineers because I can speak enough of their language to design with implementation in mind, not just hand things off.
